Our Story

Anchor Homeschool Co-op provides a weekly, Christ-centered gathering for homeschooling families who value structure, shared responsibility, and consistent, dependable community. We meet once a week, but the relationships built here extend far beyond Tuesday.

Our leadership Team is homeschool moms with over 35 years of combined experience. We have been part of multiple co-ops. We have led co-ops. We have taught our own kids and other people's kids. We wanted to create something we couldn't find ourselves.

A consistent anchor point in the homeschool week.

Experience

35+
Years Combined
Experience

Our leadership team brings over 35 years of combined homeschooling experience to Anchor. We have taught every age from preschool through high school graduation. We have been the mom at the kitchen table wondering if we are doing it right. We have been the co-op teacher managing a classroom of mixed ages. We have led organizations and navigated the challenges of group dynamics.

This is not theoretical for us. We have lived the homeschool journey in all its beauty and chaos. We have tried curriculums that worked and curriculums that flopped. We have celebrated victories and learned from failures. When you ask us a question about homeschooling, we are not guessing. We are speaking from experience.

We are still learning every day, still growing, still figuring things out alongside you. But we bring the perspective that comes from decades of teaching our own children and walking alongside other homeschool families. We are here to support you, not because we have all the answers, but because we have been there.

Our Mission

Anchor Homeschool Co-op exists because homeschool families were never meant to do all this alone. We gather as a Christ-centered partnership where children flourish in wisdom and confidence, and parents find steady support, shared strength, and the courage to keep going. Built from decades of lived experience, we are committed to walking this journey together with integrity, grace, and a culture that feels like family.

Built to Be Enjoyed,
Not Endured

Homeschooling parents already pour so much into their kids and their community. Anchor should not feel like one more thing to survive. Every decision we make is filtered through one question: does this make life easier or harder for our families?

Teacher-Led Classes

Teachers lead the classes. Parents are not expected to build lesson plans or manage a classroom. Your role is simpler: show up, help where you can, and be part of the community.

Streamlined Volunteering

We keep volunteer commitments manageable so no one is stretched thin. Helping out should feel natural, not overwhelming.

Capped Pricing

We cap our class pricing so cost is never the reason a family has to say no. We also offer a limited refund window because we know life happens.

Club Hour

The last hour of every Tuesday is Club, a parent-led enrichment hour. Movement, Show and Tell, games, Service projects, or something entirely new. Less curriculum, more connection.

Co-op should add to your week, not take from it.

Statement of Faith

Anchor is a Christian homeschool co-op. Our faith shapes how we lead, how we speak, and how we serve one another.

We value kindness, accountability, and respect. We encourage students to grow in character as well as knowledge.

You do not have to be Christian to join Anchor. We simply ask that families understand and respect our Christian foundation.
